PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Call 360-372-2542 to register. (The Building Code limits the occupancy of this building to 49 people.)
Some local vets from wars past are forming a civilian Troop Support Brigade to provide FREE RECREATIONAL EVENTS for Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard troops as well as Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan vets. These events will also be free for members of their immediate family.
Our first event will be a foosball, billiards and Xbox 360 night at Allen's Billiards, 23692 N.E. SR 3, in Belfair, WA. (Across from the Subway sandwich shop.)
There will be four full sized professional pool tables, one foosball table and 120 games for the Xbox 360 available free of charge. There are other coin operated video games and dart boards on premises. Golf, a simple pool game where everyone gets an equal number of shots will be played. A local expert will demonstrate trick shots and be available for tips and advice to all who ask. (Note that children under 10 are not allowed to use the pool tables as they are prone to tear the cloth with the cue stick.)
Free snacks will be available. This facility is not a tavern but is licensed to sell food and beer. No outside alcohol is allowed on the premises.
Call 360-372-2542 to register. You will get a recording. Please slowly and clearly record your name, phone number, branch of service and the number of family members that will attend this event with you. We may not be able to return all calls but will notify anyone who tries to register after we have reached 49 people.
Military personnel will need to show their military ID at the door. Veterans will need a copy of their DD214.
The Troop Support Brigade is a civilian non-profit organization being formed by individual members of the American Legion. (Vets helping vets since 1919) Anyone who cares about our troops can serve in the Troop Support Brigade.
